Dr. Sally Pegrum BVSc MACVS
Dr. Sally has owned and operated Double Bay Vet Hospital for over 15 years and still loves doing what she does best and that's fixing and patting cats and dogs. She is one of only a handful of Vets in NSW qualified to do I131 Hyperthyroid treatment of cats. When she is not patting cute dogs and cats she is a busy Mum of three animal living kids, Several cats, a couple of dogs and a Husband.
Dr Michelle Frampton BVSc (Dist)
I grew up and studied in beautiful New Zealand, and although Sydney is now my home, I will always be a Kiwi at heart! I started practicing over 10 years ago now (time flies!), and worked in New Zealand, rural U.K, and London before settling in Sydney 5 years ago. My focus and passion for much of my career has been small animal medicine, and I have a special interest in everything feline! I love my patients and clientele at Double Bay Vets and feel grateful and proud to work at a clinic where I can offer the best of care.
I am currently completing my Masters in Veterinary Medicine, I love learning almost as much as I love animals.
I have two lovely moggies (in this country!!) called Polly and Eliza and recently fulfilled a childhood dream of owning my own pony! When I'm not busy with work or study I can usually be found with my pony Gidget or dreaming up my next travel plans with my partner Pete.
Jacqueline Mead Head Veterinary Nurse
I’m a UK registered veterinary nurse and I’ve been in the nursing industry since 2006. I always knew I wanted to work with animals since a small child making mud pies with worms! When I finished school I did a Diploma in Animal Management which enabled me to do work experience in my first vets and grooming as a part time job. This is what made me decide to do nursing as a career. Once I finished my course I got an apprenticeship with a vet clinic and they sent me to Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons to study. My partner and I moved to Sydney in September 2015 so he could be with his family and so I could further my career. I love my job and I’m so grateful that what was once a hobby as a child has become my everyday job.
I am an organisational freak so being head nurse has worked out well! My favourite part of nursing is assisting with surgery and learning/seeing new and strange things. In my spare time me and my partner go to the beach and enjoy spending time with friends and family.
